HF24: A Day with Heart Failure

This campaign helped HCPs attending the ACC 2020 conference to put themselves in the shoes of their Heart Failure patients. Environmental drivers from their hotel rooms to the conference floor helped them realize the many health-related quality of life challenges that a HF patient faces throughout the day.
The various contextual messages all prompted attendees to download the HF24 smartphone app, which helps them empathize with patients via a series of slightly intrusive push messages thought out a 24 hour period. Pedometer, accelerometer, and daypart data allow the app to guess when a participant might be waking up, eating lunch, or going to bed, triggering messages about having to limit water intake, eat low sodium meals, or sleep sitting up — and reminding users every few hundred steps that a HF patient might need to rest right about now.
