Watching my dog struggle to hold a bone upright while she chewed on it gave me an idea. What if there a bone that “stood up” so the dog didn’t have to hold onto it? I came up with a symmetrical shape that always “stands up” regardless of how it is oriented. I patented it and licensed the shape to a dog bone manufacturer, who has been successfully selling hundreds of thousands of the product (which the licensee named Quado) for many years.
